The Dj Me

Hello. One of my most favorite endeavors this past year was Dj-ing at a local radio station over the summer. I really enjoyed it because I love to play my selection of music that is the most new and motivating to me. Songs that inspire me to dance and just be more energetic overall. Being a staff member and having a slot to play my selection of music at a standard grade radio station (using an Audioarts D-75 Digital Audio Console), pushed me to strive and find the newest and most enthralling music possible. I was and mostly always am in need of finding new and more innovating music then the last. A lot of songs stay enticing to me though some kind of loose their meaning and I have to search for new songs to keep the couple of hours well and full of energy. I guess I like to play music that will have people happy and motivated to get exercise, even if it is just to go out side and get some fresh air. The summers in the California Bay Area are pretty nice, so going outside for a walk does not take that much encouragement though. I hosted a mid-afternoon slot in hopes of being able to at least intern at a well know local alternative radio station in San Fransico. The radio station despite my active listener-ship for most of my teenage life and much thereafter, said that they did not have any positions available. This was my all and for what it was, I can not complain. Now I know that I may not be what the radio world is looking for but I am not going to let that stop me searching for music that makes me happy. I changed my prospects as far as careers. If I really think about it, the radio personalities actually do lots of work and I am not sure if I am witty enough to fill that spot. At least I did my best and had lots of fun doing so! Thank you very much! Eric M. Rangel

Love Cats: A retrospective 2

Happy New Year Kitten
Hello. This is a retrospective on My cartoon art I like to call, Love Cats, that I have drawn from this past year. Previously I had mentioned that I happened upon this idea from a study of a cat I have drawn for a painting I painted once, Lady Walking in a Park. I think My Love Cats are creative in their own right. The idea is that certain cats have the intelligence and ability to commence there own adventures and delight within a safe world where they have the freedom to do as they will, and yet any of my cats have yet to harm another. A part of Me would like to have a story basis of cats taking over the world, though I think that is not the nicest occurrence to take place. I think I better like the idea of a secret sect of cats that are more enlightened then the average cat. Their ages range from kittens to more mature cats, that have the ability to stand upright when necessary, though carry traits mostly of a regular Felis Catus, in a motor physical sense. I would like to comprise a compilation comic book and place it on the market one day! I have placed My "Vampire Kitten" on a pair of shoes and some select Love Cats on t-shirts that I have placed on My Etsy shoppe, http://www.etsy.com/shop/EricsArtsCreativeInc ! That was actually a big accomplishment for Myself because I would like for people to wear my art. I know that My art is probably more embraced by a female audience, and that is fine with me! I love the female species! Though I do draw some Love Cats that guys would not mind, I.e. "Monster Truck Kitten," and "Blues Jazz Band Cats." Some of my humor is a bit dry and needs more work, for instance, in the "Knight Kitten" comic strip, I wrote a sentence that says, "I think I need a bigger horse or carriage," though I always knew of a horse and carriage that came together like love and marriage, and with "Moon Kitten" comic strip, I wrote, "That's one small leap for cats, and one giant stride for cat kind," that I thought was maybe supposed to be the other way around or have better usage of vocabulary. I would like to think that I am always improving and really see My Love Cats comics to be ever adventurous, witty, and smart! I look forward to being creative and having lots of fun with this art work! :) Thank you very much! Happy Holidays! :)

3 Twilight Skateboard Tricks

Hello. These are three skateboard tricks that I have recently learned and love to do with a mini tune I made! They are nollie verial heelflip to feeble stall, nollie verial kickflip to rock to revert, and b/s kickflip to disaster to revert out! :) It is getting dark earlier so it happened to be twilight out. Thank you very much! Eric M. Rangel

Macromicrouniverseskateboardsesh

Hello. I was invited to attend a state skateboard championship this Saturday, though I could not attend because I had responsibilities of prior obligations and had to put other peoples needs before mine . So I made this little montage (and musical beat) after, at night! :)  My weekend has been pretty fun in any case! Stay warm! :)
